Goldington Academy was named Sporting Secondary School of the Year 2022, the third time the school has won this prestigious award.
The Physical Education Department aims to develop an understanding of the benefits of participation in physical activity now and in later life. The department strives to promote appreciation of skillful and creative performances in a variety of sporting activities. PE plays a vital role in supporting pupils’ social, physical and cognitive development, encouraging them to reach their potential while developing transferable skills such as respect, teamwork, communication, inclusion and co-operation.
